About Harvest Fest

Harvest Fest is a free annual community celebration hosted by Community Missionary Baptist Church, bringing families together for fun, food and fellowship.

Enjoy indoor and outdoor games, bounce houses, face painting, a DJ, free food and drinks while supplies last, food trucks and more! Costumes are welcome, and there's fun for all ages.

Is Harvest Fest free?

Yes! Harvest Fest is a free annual community event hosted by Community Missionary Baptist Church. Admission, games, activities, food and drinks are free. Food and drinks will be available while supplies last, and food trucks will also be on site.

Do we need to register to attend?

No. Registration is not required to attend Harvest Fest. Bring the whole family and come enjoy an afternoon of food, games, activities and fun for all ages!

What activities will be available?

There will be plenty to enjoy throughout the afternoon, with indoor and outdoor games and activities for all ages. Come ready to have fun!

Can I volunteer?

Absolutely! Volunteers help make Harvest Fest possible. Advance volunteer registration is requested so we can plan ahead, see which areas are covered and identify where additional help is needed. If you're unsure where you'd like to serve, simply select “Open to Serve Where Needed” when registering.

Can I donate candy?

Yes! Candy donations are welcomed and appreciated as we work toward our goal of 20,000 pieces of candy. Donations can be dropped off at the CMBC – Cedar Hill Campus in designated collection boxes located near multiple entry and exit doors.

Can I make a monetary donation instead?

Yes. Monetary donations are also welcomed and will help us purchase candy for Harvest Fest. Credit card donations can be made securely using the online donation form on this page.

Where should we park?

Parking is available in designated spaces around the church. Parking lot attendants will be on site to help direct you when you arrive.

What happens in case of bad weather?

If severe weather requires a schedule change or cancellation, an announcement will be sent through the CMBC church-wide email and posted on the Community Missionary Baptist Church website before the event begins. If inclement weather is expected, please check for updates before heading to Harvest Fest.
